Life Support Charity - Zambia and Malawi

Life Support is a UK-registered charity working in Africa, headed by Nathanael Edwards one of our leaders. Their mission is to serve the underprivileged in developing nations. Through community partnerships, they provide shelter and security; education and training; nutrition and medical services and so empower people to live independently in their own communities.

Life Support’s main project is Eden Farm in Chingola, Zambia. Eden Farm is a children’s Village and working farm. The farm was donated to Life Support in January 2008. Life Support plans to build homes for over 200 orphaned children. In 2010 the Nurture Project began with the aim of helping vulnerable women learn a trade and find sustainable employment. These projects run under the banner of Life Support Chingola.

As a church we have been closely involved with the work of Life Support and have sent teams out to run Children’s Clubs, training schools and to help with building projects on Eden Farm.
