After 17 years working with the World Horizons team and a small church plant in Lille, Karen is now based in Marseille, teaching English, and working with; the “Eglise Pierres Vivantes” ( Living Stones Church), whose vision is “to be a living stone in the community and the countries around the Mediterranean”.

Karen runs English clubs and other English events and is involved in the mums and toddlers group, which meets in the church building. She is also part of a team that encourages prayer and mission. The church prays regularly for these activities, in the local area and in the countries around the Mediterranean. Karen also enjoys developing friendships with people from different cultural backgrounds in Marseille, which is a vibrant and multicultural city.

Karen says, “It is great to be part of the Life Community Church Storrington family, and I really appreciate their love, friendship, practical support, and the welcome I receive on visits home. I also enjoy introducing visitors to Marseille and taking people on short-term mission trips.”
