We’re José Manuel and Alexis Ortiz. We spent almost five years at Life Community Church in Storrington before moving to Spain with our family. We now live in Sagunto, just north of Valencia, where we’re starting a new church called NEXO.

NEXO means bridge or connection. We see it as a connection between nations, and between us and the community we’re now part of here in Sagunto. Our heart is to see a lasting, Christ-centred church take root in Sagunto, built with and for the people who live here.

What we are doing now

• We are building relationships across Sagunto with neighbours, local families and the wider community, as the foundation before anything more formal starts.

• We are planning our first small gathering, with nothing formal, just coffee and a chat with people we’ve got to know.

• We run NEXO, a small music and English school in Sagunto, which gives us a natural point of contact with our community.
