Midweek and Sunday Morning Youth and Children’s activities
Sunday mornings include activities for children of all ages. During the month there are a number of activities for Children and Young people during the week too!
Outreach and Meeting up
Our heart is to give families as much chance to grow together as we are able to do. We enjoy running events where the whole family can engage with one another. As a church we offer a number of activities to do this.
Please keep an eye on this page and see our Facebook page for updates.
This is a time of fun, laughter, craft and lively bible story, ending with a meal together provided for by the church. There is no charge for this event so please invite anyone you would like to and come and join us. This is usually held the first Thursday of each month in school term times. (There will be No messy church in August and will be the 2nd Thursday in December.) Our Venue is to be confirmed. For more information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is a new event we started in July. We will be running a toddler group for the local Community where everyone and their babies/toddlers will be able to attend. There will be a variety of toys for the children to play with in a large hall area. This will be a time where parents/carers can interact with one another and their children in a fun safe environment. Refreshments will be provided for adults and children during the session. In addition to this, there will be a bible story, craft and song time run over the session where the children can take part. There will be a £1 charge per child for entry to this event. Our Venue twill be Chanctonbury Leisure Centre. If you would like more information please contact email@example.com.
Sparks (Early years, Children up to nursery age)
We have a crèche, called Sparks, which runs each Sunday morning. This is a place where our youngest children are able to attend with lots of fun toys, a craft, fun songs and a basic bible story.
Our aim is to have our children and youth in the service with us to worship together for a short time each week and then move out at 10:30am to their own groups which are focused on their age group needs.
Fireworks (Children in school years reception to year 5)
Children and Young People are an important part of our Church life and each Sunday they have their own groups to encourage faith and growth in the ways of God.
Our aim is to have our children and youth in the service with us to worship together for a short time each week and then move out at 10:30am to their own groups which are focused on their age group needs. This is currently not a option based on the Government guidelines for Covid and we will keep everyone informed when we are able to re-introduce this back into the church services.
In addition to this, we hope to begin an after school Kids club for KS2 children from the year groups Year 3 to Year 5 running from 3:30pm till 5:00pm from September. Our aim is to have fun activities with crafts, games, lively bible stories and much more each week in term times. More information will follow with exact dates and more information.
Wildfires (Youth Group – runs every Friday evening and Sunday Morning)
Our youth are a key element of our Church life and each Friday Evening and Sunday they have their own groups to encourage faith and growth in the ways of God.
Our Youth Group called Wildfires happens every Friday Evening and Sunday Morning.
Our Friday Night youth meetings will be from 7:30pm till 9:00pm.
Our hope is that we would engage with the youth through fun and games and biblical topics which will be discussed. We aim for this to encourage them to ask questions in the family environment based on the bible stories and topics we go through.
