Where and When
Following the government guidelines in its strategy to help deal with the effect of the Coronavirus, we have had to make the decision to suspend all our church gatherings until 6th December. However you can join us by watching the Sunday Morning teaching on our YouTube Channel LCCSTOR. As from Sunday 6th December, we will be able to meet at Dalesdown Childrens Activity and Conference Centre, Honeybridge Ln, Dial Post RH13 8NX.
We meet on a Sunday morning at 10am in the main hall of Steyning Grammar School – Rock Road Campus (formally Rydon Community College) in Storrington, West Sussex. For more information of what happens on Sundays and for directions have a look at the Sunday Mornings Page.
Who we are and What we Believe
The Community Church in Storrington began in 1980 when a small group came together, meeting in people’s homes. Since then numbers have grown and Steyning Grammar School – Rock Road Campus (formally Rydon Community College) has become our home. Today we are a community of people who are committed to following Jesus Christ with our whole lives. We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word to us and we meet as the ‘Body of Christ’, His Church.
Our Elders Chas Weaver, Sue Smith, Nathanael Edwards, Tony and Ruth Powell are supported by a team of Deacons who are all available if you need them and are happy to answer any questions you have. Our Elders and Deacons are also available to meet and pray with you. Please ask.

Life Community Ministries
Life Community Church is excited to be a Life Community Ministries Partner. Life Community Ministries began in 2018 with the partnering of three churches, Life Community Church Storrington, Life Community Church at Eden farm in Zambia and Life Community Church in Migowi. Following the leading of The Holy Spirit, these churches determined to partner together around a common vision, values, culture and theology.
There are now more than 15 churches in the Life Community Ministries network and we are excited to see what God will do through this partnership.
LCM’s vision is to establish “a family of churches, rooted in grace, equipped by the Holy Spirit partnering together to make known the love of God and the power of Christ’s Kingdom throughout the earth.”
In order to do this we focus on training and equipping God’s people to serve Him effectively by sharing resources, wisdom and spiritual gifting. The goal is to partner with churches, and Christian ministries in the proclamation of the gospel. To devote ourselves to the strengthening of God’s church. We believe that there is great blessing and wisdom in working in partnership and we are excited to see how God will grow this family of churches for his glory.
