Who we are and What we Believe
Life Community Church Storrington (Formerly The Community Church Storrington) began in 1980 when a small group came together, meeting in people’s homes. Since then numbers have grown and Steyning Grammar School – Rock Road Campus (formally Rydon Community College) was our home for many years before moving to Chanctonbury Leisure Centre in March 2021. Today our church family continues to grow and we are working to see the Kingdom of God revealed among us.
Our Elders Chas Weaver, Sue Smith, Nathanael Edwards, Tony and Ruth Powell are supported by an associate Minister and a team of deacons who are all available to meet and pray with you and are happy to answer any questions you have. Please do not hesitate to ask or contact the church office.

Nick Peebles – Associate Minister
“Hi there, my name is Nick and I am the Associate Minister here at Life Community Church Storrington. I have a number of roles within the church which range from children and youth work through to pastoral responsibilities. I have an amazing family; a beautiful wife and 3 wonderful daughters who all keep my life very full. I have always loved serving others especially in the community children’s and youth work and really enjoy spending time with them and running fun activities together. I would love to see more youth and children in the area grow to know God and serve him in a number of different ways. One of the most rewarding aspects of working with Youth and children is seeing them develop their own characters.”
Life Community Ministries
Life Community Church is excited to be a Life Community Ministries Partner. Life Community Ministries began in 2018 with the partnering of three churches, Life Community Church Storrington, Life Community Church at Eden farm in Zambia and Life Community Church in Migowi. Following the leading of The Holy Spirit, these churches determined to partner together around a common vision, values, culture and theology.
There are now more than 15 churches in the Life Community Ministries network and we are excited to see what God will do through this partnership.
LCM’s vision is to establish “a family of churches, rooted in grace, equipped by the Holy Spirit partnering together to make known the love of God and the power of Christ’s Kingdom throughout the earth.”
In order to do this we focus on training and equipping God’s people to serve Him effectively by sharing resources, wisdom and spiritual gifting. The goal is to partner with churches, and Christian ministries in the proclamation of the gospel. To devote ourselves to the strengthening of God’s church. We believe that there is great blessing and wisdom in working in partnership and we are excited to see how God will grow this family of churches for his glory.
